TBEX Europe 2014: success beyond all expectations

ERASMUS is proud to have participated and contributed, as the official DMC partner, to the outstanding success of TBEX Europe, held in Athens 23-25 of October 2014. The event, which was organized by the Municipality of Athens and welcomed more than 850 travel bloggers from 53 countries around the world, managed to create exceptional and beyond expectations positive publicity results, especially in the social media environment. It is worth mentioning that only on Twitter the hashtags # TBEXATHENS and #THISISATHENS reached by more than 11,7 million unique users, collecting more than 68.086.915 impressions. The key message spread to all over the world was that Athens is a modern, safe and multidimensional tourist destination with unique cultural, historical and natural characteristics.
