At the cutting edge of education

With great excitement and pride we received the news about the selection of Athens to host an IAPCO EDGE Seminar in January 2017.

In the beginning of October, the three Greek members of IAPCO, Erasmus, Afea and Era, presented a joint bid to host and organize an IAPCO EDGE Seminar in Athens, which was accepted by the IAPCO Council.

As committed IAPCO members and leading PCOs in Greece, Erasmus, Afea and Era aim at contributing actively to IAPCO’s educational activities, allowing fellow colleagues share their knowledge and experience in the city of Athens. At the same time, IAPCO EDGE will be a first class opportunity to showcase the convention potential of our city and country to a targeted audience of meeting professionals from around the globe.

Athens, a vibrant and modern European capital, situated at the foothills of Acropolis and next to the sea, is a perfect location for international congresses and conventions. Easily accessible from every part of the world, it is considered to be one of the safest cities, providing state of the art conference facilities, abundant modern hotel accommodation and boasting an excellent metro network and overall transportation system. It presents great opportunities for sightseeing, excursions and technical visits.

Planning for the seminar will start one year ahead, in February 2016 during the Annual Meeting of IAPCO in Cape Town.
